Job Summary
Lead the Business Marketing Internship for USA Tournament Series, owning content strategy, merchandising, and on-site branding across multiple locations.
- Develop and implement content ideas aligned with marketing strategy
- Coordinate merchandise inventory, design, and on-site sales
- Travel to and support multiple tournament locations to ensure brand consistency
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist President and entire Administration in developing business marketing plans covering USA Tournament Series events; Tournaments, Showcases, Team Scout Days, Testing Days, Social Events etc.
- Provide business marketing ideas, including content, strategies, planning and implementation.
- Introduce new content such as Personal Testimonies, staff interviews outside partnership highlights, Inside USA Tournament Series, etc.
- Work closely with the Event Operations/Digital Content Producer to capture content that aligns with and highlights the broader USA Tournament Series marketing strategies/philosophies
- Oversee the merchandising for all events including inventory, setup at events, point of sales devices, methods of sales in remote locations and designing of apparel, hats, etc.
- Attend all Google Meets meetings throughout the internship period.
Requirements
- A field of study in business marketing and a general social media experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Reliable automobile for travel to all tournament locations.
- Knowledge and understanding on how to score baseball/softball games.
- Must have the ability to post content on our social media platforms during games.
- Must be a self starter and have the ability to manage your time throughout the day.
- Need to have good communication skills with a friendly and professional disposition.
- Must be available for the 5th Annual Memorial Day Classic (May 28-31, NO EXCEPTIONS)
- Must work 5 other assigned USA Tournament Series events for the duration of the summer
- Orientation is Friday May 21st from 9 am - 3 pm (Location TBD)
