- Lead build-out of Influencer & Affiliate program from recruitment to revenue incentives
- Collaborate with Eng, MarTech, Analytics to establish measurement and attribution
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and roadmap for DoorDash’s portfolio of new channel bets — identifying, testing, and scaling channels (including Influencer & Affiliate) that drive incremental New Cx and MAU growth
- Lead the build-out of DoorDash’s Influencer & Affiliate program as a flagship bet in that portfolio — from creator recruitment and onboarding to commission structure and content strategy — modeled after category leaders like Amazon
- Partner closely with Eng, MarTech, and Analytics to build durable measurement and attribution infrastructure (deeplinking, tracking, incrementality) across new channel bets
- Design and evolve incentive and budget structures that balance DoorDash’s efficiency goals with the dynamics of each channel (e.g., influencer earning potential)
- Set content and channel strategy across verticals (Rx, New Verticals, DashPass) and seasonal moments to drive GOV, New Cx, and brand awareness
- Act as the “glue” across the marketing org, aligning new channel plans with priorities from Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance
- Communicate with cross-functional partners and senior leadership on program performance, risks, and roadmap progress across the full channel portfolio
- We’re excited about you because you have…
- Nice to have: familiarity with affiliate networks and creator platforms (e.g., Impact, CJ, CreatorIQ, Tagger) and how to evaluate build-vs-buy tradeoffs for program infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA a plus
- 5+ years of experience in performance, growth, or lifecycle marketing, with a track record of identifying, testing, and scaling new marketing channels from 0 to 1 (e.g., affiliate/influencer, SMS, or other emerging channels)
- Experience collaborating and leading cross- functional workstreams with Product, CRM, paid media, creative, analytics, and finance teams
- The ability to think about the business like a GM, drive forward highly cross-functional projects like a product manager, and speak to consumers (and, where relevant, external partners) like a seasoned marketer
- Comfort operating with imperfect attribution — able to synthesize detailed data to make data-driven decisions while using judgment when full visibility isn’t available
- A creative and entrepreneurial mindset — you enjoy building 0-to-1 programs and finding creative solutions with limited resources
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills, able to manage relationships with external partners as well as brief senior stakeholders
Preferred
- familiarity with affiliate networks and creator platforms (e.g., Impact, CJ, CreatorIQ, Tagger) and how to evaluate build-vs-buy tradeoffs for program infrastructure
