Own end-to-end student recruitment marketing for a higher education provider, coordinating outreach, campus partnerships, events, and CRM-driven journey messaging.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering outreach campaigns to boost brand awareness and drive student recruitment.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with university stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with recruitment needs.
  • Organising and managing events such as open days, workshops, and information sessions within local communities.
  • Developing training tools and calendars for sales, admissions, and agents, including webinars and online sessions.
  • Creating tailored messaging for each stage of the student journey using CRM automation.
  • Conducting market research to inform campaigns and provide insights on competitor positioning.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce marketing materials, including printed collateral, social media content, paid media campaigns, and alumni engagement activities.
  • Managing and mentoring Marketing Executives or Assistants, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent marketing qualification.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing role within a commercially driven environment.
  • Proven expertise in both B2B and B2C marketing, ideally within the education sector.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe tools (InDesign) and online graphic platforms like Canva.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and generative AI tools.
  • Exceptional copywriting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in marketing leadership or management roles.
  • Familiarity with print and digital campaign planning.
  • Understanding of non-traditional learner audiences and UK-funded studies.
