Embarcadero Media Foundation, headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, is a nonprofit multimedia news organization serving the Midpeninsula and Tri-Valley regions. Our publications include seven local news websites, three respected newspapers (Palo Alto Weekly, The Almanac, and Pleasanton Weekly), and two newsletters (Peninsula Foodist and The Six Fifty) which focus on food and lifestyle content from across the Peninsula. The organization was founded in 1979 and transitioned to a nonprofit organization on January 1, 2024 with a continued commitment to serving the community with trusted local journalism.
