Own the end-to-end digital marketing program for HSA, driving engagement and enrollment through content creation, analytics, and multi-channel campaigns, while collaborating with artistic staff and development to align messaging.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide digital marketing support to build engagement and awareness across external channels including email and social media
  • Support the Chief Marketing Officer in developing marketing materials to promote classes, events, and public programs
  • Collaborate with artistic staff to identify program marketing opportunities
  • Conduct surveys to measure customer and community satisfaction and engagement
  • Monitor, analyze, and provide reports on enrollment, student data, and sales trends
  • Maintain Constant Contact list structure, VIP segmentation, and email scheduling; list builds to be executed by the Development Associate with sufficient lead time ahead of send
  • Create documents and contribute to internal and external communications campaigns
  • Provide general administrative support related for Marketing activities and meetings
  • Manage additional projects as assigned
  • Serve as HSA’s primary marketing writer and editor, producing copy for newsletters, web pages, donor communications, and program materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or an arts-related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or editorial work, ideally within arts education, nonprofit, or related fields
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a portfolio demonstrating clear, engaging copy for newsletters, web, or donor/fundraising communications
  • Solid understanding of Social Media content creation, strategy, and analysis
  • Proficiency across core social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn) and familiarity with social media scheduling/management tools
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) for reading and interpreting website and digital campaign performance data
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google suite of products
  • Experience with design and content creation software such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign, plus facility with basic video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut, or Canva Video) for short-form social and promotional content
  • Strong verbal communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
