Marketing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns, including mailshots and product launches, and client communications
• Work with the external marketing advisor on the introduction and promotion of new products
• Attend regular meetings with the Head Office Branding team to align on brand guidelines and messaging
• Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with brand standards
• Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
• Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Manage and update the company’s social media presence, supporting engagement and brand visibility
• Provide regular updates on marketing activity, campaigns, and upcoming initiatives at weekly admin team meetings
• Communicate key marketing information clearly to support alignment across the wider team
• Prepare and compile marketing and performance reports including mailshot effectiveness where required

Requirements

• An excellent writer, with strong literacy, copywriting and proofreading skills
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A confident communicator who can build positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and external partners.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, with the ability to produce high-quality documents, presentations and reports
• Familiar with digital marketing, social media and email marketing
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to anticipate needs, identify improvements and work independently
• Comfortable coordinating nationwide events, travelling within the UK (if required) and providing practical event support where required.

Preferred

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business or related subject
• Min of 1 year experience in a Marketing role
