Job Summary

Own field communications for a large retail network, connecting store teams to the brand through daily messaging, meetings, in-store posts, and web events while maintaining a consistent brand voice across campaigns.

  • Field communications ownership: weekly routines and cross‑channel campaigns that keep field leaders and store teams aligned and engaged.
  • Cross‑functional execution: partner with teams to plan field meetings, messaging, and materials that support store experience and business goals.
  • People and process impact: coach and mentor teams, monitor engagement trends, and drive continuous improvement in internal communications strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring Field Leaders and Store Associates are inspired by and connected to the HFT Brand and core values through the full range of internal communication experiences including daily messaging, monthly and annual meetings, in-store postings, and web-based events
  • Ensure HFT Brand voice is present in all field communication campaigns, postings, meetings, and messages
  • Design and lead weekly communication routines that consistently deliver inspiring, high quality messaging for retail teams and ensure easy execution for partners
  • Lead and facilitate project plans for excellence in execution of all field meetings
  • Maintain a pulse on creative trends in engagement and communications to fuel Continuous Improvement of the Store Experience and internal communication strategies
  • Create communication campaigns that inspire and connect teams using the most effective platform, visual design, and format to convey the target experience
  • Build effective cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced organization, while working with partners to create messaging, meetings, and materials that support the business and store teams
  • Provide positive and constructive feedback to employees through coaching, mentoring, counseling or corrective guidance or action, as appropriate
  • Participate in and contribute to strategic planning sessions with peers and Senior Leadership

Requirements

  • Education (Required) Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Skills (Required) Demonstrated ability to negotiate, collaborate, and advocate for retail field teams while balancing business objectives and customer priorities
  • Passion for designing and supporting a Best in Retail Associate Experience; store teams are your top priority
  • Skilled problem solver who can communicate urgency and influence others to find solutions under tight timelines while maintaining a focused and collaborative approach
  • Resourceful and creative self-starter; able to carry out strategic and operational plans with limited direction
  • Excellent time management and planning skills, with the ability to multitask, follow-up, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Strong attention to detail with a high aptitude for identifying patterns and leading teams to prevent issues or remove obstacles
  • Ability to make decisions quickly, based upon a combination of analysis, experience, wisdom, and judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence a diverse audience
  • Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to get the job done
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience (Required) 5+ years in Retail Experience required; preferably in a field role or field support function
  • 3+ years in project management, with skills necessary to interpret what is needed for the success of a project and to create appropriate schedules for timely delivery
  • Travel – 20%

  • Experience working in or closely with retail field teams preferred
