Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Intern will craft posts coordinate social media, perform research as related to their content project.
  • Interns work on dedicated projects solely and on a team if needed. Projects are aligned with LISSA's mission.

Requirements

  • Fall internships start September 1st, 2026 and continue through December 4th, 2026
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled college or graduate students
  • Students devote an average of 12-14 hours a week to the internship.
  • Internships may be completed for course credit.

  • The internship is also an opportunity to build a varied portfolio of project work, and to utilize and hone teamwork and communication skills.
  • Social media platform knowledge (FB, Instagram), some experience in content creation, and passion for education/nonprofits a must.
  • Good writing, research, and editing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva and Venngage, Google Workspace

  • those who are interested in content creation as a future career a plus
