Job Summary

Own the craft of video storytelling for social-first campaigns, blending editing, motion graphics, and cross-functional delivery to land on-brand assets under tight deadlines.

  • End-to-End Video Editing & Motion Graphics: own cutting, pacing, transitions, and animated overlays from concept to delivery.
  • Social-Format Production: tailor assets for TikTok/Reels 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9, with trend-driven visuals and fast turnaround.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: partner with copy, creative directors, and account managers to turn scripts into final assets on schedule.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Video Editing: Edit short-form and long-form video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, ensuring crisp pacing, seamless transitions, and flawless audio mixing.
  • Motion Graphics & Animation: Design and animate dynamic text, lower thirds, logo reveals, and custom graphical overlays in After Effects to elevate brand storytelling.
  • Asset Manipulation & Prep: Utilize Photoshop to cleanly isolate assets, mask elements, and prep multi-layered files for seamless integration into your motion graphics workflows.
  • Social-First Formatting: Optimize, reframe, and version content for specific platform requirements (9:16 vertical for TikTok/Reels, 1:1, and 16:9 widescreen formats).
  • Commercial & Brand Storytelling: Shape narrative flows for product photography, lifestyle reels, and QSR franchise campaigns, maintaining a strict adherence to individual brand guidelines.
  • Occasional content capture as needed: BTS / Social / B-roll / UGC
  • Trend-Driven Visuals: Collaborate closely with the community and creative teams to quickly execute trend-based edits, leveraging native app aesthetics, text styles, and viral pacing formats.
  • Asset Management & Organization: Maintain a meticulous project file architecture, ensuring clean timelines, organized media bins, and easily retrievable templates for future agency use.
  • Color Grading & Sound Design: Apply clean color correction, grading, sound effects, and audio balancing to deliver polished, broadcast-ready digital assets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with copywriters, creative directors, and account managers to bring concepts from script and storyboard to final delivery under tight agency deadlines.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the continental US
  • Experience: 3+ years of professional video editing and motion graphics experience, preferably within an agency, commercial studio, or fast-paced digital brand environment.
  • Software Mastery: Expert-level command of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Photoshop Proficiency: Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop. You must be comfortable with advanced masking, asset isolation (clean cutouts), and prepping multi-layered files to be seamlessly handed off into After Effects for animation. Familiarity with Illustrator is a plus.
  • Visual Pacing & Rhythm: An innate sense of timing, comedic or dramatic pacing, and audio-to-video synchronization. You know exactly how to hook a viewer in the first 2 seconds.
  • Portfolio Requirement: A strong, diverse portfolio or reel demonstrating your editing style, narrative flow, sound design, and a solid grasp of keyframing, typography, and motion design.
  • Adaptability: The ability to pivot seamlessly between different brand aesthetics—from premium corporate wealth management styling to high-energy, playful QSR food marketing.
  • Mindset: A detail-oriented, proactive self-starter who handles feedback constructively and thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving remote agency workflow.
