Job Summary

Support corporate communications by contributing to the company magazine and newsletter, crafting press materials to tell the SWBC story, and collaborating on campaigns with internal clients while learning intranet content management.

  • Contribute to the corporate magazine and newsletter to support brand storytelling.
  • Assist in securing earned media by drafting press materials and media pitches.
  • Collaborate on internal campaigns with HR, training, and community relations to share information and advise on distribution channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the corporate magazine and newsletter to support brand storytelling.
  • Assist in securing earned media by drafting press materials and media pitches.
  • Collaborate on internal campaigns with HR, training, and community relations to share information and advise on distribution channels.
  • Maintain open communication with Public Relations and Corporate Communications colleagues to keep them informed about company news.
  • Learn to manage the company intranet content, focusing on usability and up-to-date information.
  • Create, edit, and produce content marketing for distribution on the company blog.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university/college in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related program with a graduation date of May 2027 or later.
  • Possess strong writing, editing, and grammar application skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Excellent problem resolution skills.
  • Able to meet concurrent deadlines.
  • Possess a passion and desire for learning and a proactive energy for getting things done.
  • Display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of individuals.
