The 2027 Ulta Beauty Internship is a structured 10-week program designed to develop future talent and provide interns with a unique and impactful development experience. This program is tailored for rising college Juniors and Seniors, offering both Corporate and Distribution Center internship tracks. The internship will be hybrid for Corporate interns and in-person for Distribution Center interns. Interns will gain hands-on experience in Ulta Beauty’s operations while contributing to business needs, engaging in meaningful projects, and broadening their professional development. The internship program provides real-world experience directly related to the academic discipline and career goals, offering a better understanding of career options.

TEAM OVERVIEW:

Be a part of an exciting team at the forefront of Social Commerce and channel expansion, the team that brings to life Ulta Beauty’s TikTok Shop activations interacting with creators, brand partners and the TikTok team. Help drive the TikTok Shop (and beyond) strategy by uncovering actionable insights, providing clear recommendations and researching emerging trends in the Social Commerce space.

 

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an intern, you will contribute to achieving the following goals:

• Research and provide insights around Social Commerce innovation— from new & emerging platforms to shifting consumer behaviors across the channel in other markets
• Support structuring out Ulta Beauty’s ‘go-to-market’ (GTM) strategy within TikTok Shop to identify key consumer moments, relevant assortments and activation strategies to drive continued growth within the channel
• Support building out a ‘brand playbook’ for new brand and product launches on TikTok Shop
• Leverage TikTok Shop sales and consumer data to identify category and brand whitespace opportunities and priorities for TikTok Shop Category Management to ‘go get’
• Research creator and content data to uncover insights around top content attributes that perform, creators that resonate with the Ulta Beauty consumer
• Provide insights around Ulta Beauty TikTok Shop guest experience and ways to optimize, informing our product enhancement roadmap with TikTok
• Research and identify opportunities for top creator engagement strategies, providing clear recommendations for the Ulta Beauty Social Commerce team to action

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Strategy, Merchandising, Marketing, Business, eCommerce, Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel
• Analytical thinking, collaborative mindset, strong verbal & written communication, and time management skills
• Demonstrated focus on accuracy in data collection and analysis, whether through coursework, projects, or work experience
• Passion for strategy & innovation, comfortable researching and structuring out findings with clear insights & actions
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with various levels of leadership

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be local to the Chicago area and/or able to come into the Bolingbrook Corporate office at least 6 days a month (3 days every other week).
• Must be a rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited undergraduate university in the summer of 2027.
• Previous work experience and active involvement with on-campus organizations or activities.

 The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $0.00 / Hour. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also earn overtime pay as required by applicable law. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
