Job Summary
Own and advance marketing education through undergraduate and graduate teaching, advising, and scholarly activity, driving program development, curriculum updates, and department service across marketing analytics, communications, research, and consumer behavior.
- Lead teaching across Principles of Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing Research Methods, and Retailing
- Build and assess student learning, mentoring, and curricular development
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing. Primary instructional needs include: Principles of Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing Research Methods, Retailing. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Marketing communications, Digital marketing, Marketing research, Marketing analytics and measurement and Consumer behavior. Additional responsibilities include student advising and mentoring, maintaining an active program of scholarly and professional achievement, curriculum development, and service to the department and university.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Marketing or a closely related field from an accredited institution (ABD considered).
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and scholarship.
Preferred
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Ability to teach across multiple areas of the business curriculum.
- Experience incorporating technology, analytics, and experiential learning into the classroom.
- Commitment to supporting a diverse student population.
