Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage and update The Harris Center’s public website and The Harris Center Foundation website, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand standards.
Coordinate with internal departments to gather, edit, and publish digital content, including program updates, announcements, and resources.
Apply SEO best practices to improve search visibility, accessibility, and performance of web content.
Monitor website analytics and user behavior to inform content improvements and recommendations.
Manage and maintain social media accounts for both the agency and the Foundation.
Develop, schedule, and publish content across platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube).
Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages as appropriate, and escalate issues when needed.
Track performance metrics and prepare regular reports on reach, engagement, and growth.
Serve as a key content manager for the agency intranet (SharePoint), ensuring information is wellorganized, accessible, and current.
Collaborate with departments to post announcements, resources, tools, and campaigns.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Requires a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas: communications, video production, web development, graphic design, and/or social media management.
Working knowledge of SEO best practices, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and social media platforms.
Ability to write and edit clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to meet deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner; Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point; Excellent interpersonal skills; and Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred

An undergraduate degree in communications, journalism, digital media, public relations, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Basic graphic design skills are preferred.
