Responsibilities

• 1. Supervise, total management and coordinate activities of staff in front office area. a. Assist Manager in on going training sessions and seminar b. Assist Manager with staff meetings c. Assist Manager with interviewing GSA.
• 2. Ensures guests are handled courteously and efficiently, complaints and problems are resolved and request for services are carried through in a very timely manner.
• 3. Verify daily printout listing guest’s arrivals and GSA receives individual guest folios.
• 4. Correspond with group and travel agents to answer special requests for rooms and rates.
• 5. Solicit New Accounts and maintain existing accounts. Coordinate sales blitz with manager.
• 6. Assist and develop new ideas for marketing and sales of the hotel with the manager. 7. Attend organization and chamber meetings with manager when necessary.
• 8. Delegate and train GSA in all aspects of front desk operations and coordinating information with housekeeping and maintenance with assistance from manager.
• 9. Acquainted with all aspects of hotel and job duties of each staff position (housekeeping, front desk and maintenance).
• 10. Have a thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures and how to follow the steps.
• 11. Interact with guest for guest stay feedback and maintaining hotel service scores.

Requirements

• Basic Criteria: Must have previous hotel and/or supervisory experience. Have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, the ability to take responsibility and delegate to others.
• Weight Requirements: 40-60 pounds for push/pull and lifting.
