Job Summary

Own the end-to-end volunteer marketing engine for The Quran Group, turning long-form teaching content into watchable clips and growing a mission-aligned audience across YouTube and social channels.

Lead content strategy and posting across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Build and manage a small volunteer production team and onboarding process.
Analyze analytics and adjust to improve reach while staying aligned with the mission.

Job Description

Lead content strategy and posting calendar across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Build and manage a small volunteer team of editors, designers, and writers, interviewing and onboarding them.
Turn hundreds of hours of recorded teaching into short-form clips and full lessons that people actually watch, then ensure they get found.
Read analytics and adjust to improve reach and alignment with the mission.
Work closely with the founder to keep work matched to The Quran Group’s volunteer-driven capacity.

Experience growing an audience on YouTube and other channels (Instagram, TikTok) with tangible examples.
Strong grasp of video pacing, hooks, and end frames to maximize watch time and completion.
Understanding of search and discovery, including how to title and tag for YouTube and feeds to reach the right people.
Ability to lead and brief volunteers, not just produce content.
Knowledge of Islamic content boundaries, no inappropriate depictions or music where not allowed.
Reliability and consistency in a volunteer-driven context where work is never finished.
Clear written English and adaptable tone for different audiences.
Alignment with The Quran Group’s mission and values; prior Islamic organization experience is a plus but not required.
