Job Description

The Role

This is a pivotal, senior leadership hire that sits at the heart of our commercial ambition. As Head of Growth, you will own and lead our full revenue strategy, building out a high-performance sales function from the ground up while working in close partnership with our Marketing team.

You will report directly to the CEO and have significant autonomy to define how we go to market, build scalable sales infrastructure, and drive revenue growth in line with our ambitious targets.

This is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a mature playbook. It is a role for a builder: someone energised by creating structure where little exists, who can move between strategy and execution, and who takes genuine pride in building something that outlasts them.

What You Will Own

Revenue Growth

  • Own and deliver against ambitious ARR targets, leading the full revenue function from pipeline generation through to close
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that moves the business beyond its inbound-led origins and establishes a robust, repeatable outbound sales motion for the first time
  • Define and manage the revenue forecast, pipeline health, and reporting cadence

Sales Function Building

  • Architect and implement a scalable sales engine: processes, playbooks, qualification frameworks, pipeline stages, and performance metrics
  • Select, configure, and optimise the sales technology stack, including CRM, sequencing tools, and revenue intelligence platforms
  • Build outbound capability from scratch, including prospecting strategy, ICP definition, sequencing, and outreach frameworks
  • Establish clear sales methodologies and embed them as the operational foundation of the team

Commercial Strategy

  • Define target market and ideal customer profile, working in close collaboration with Marketing to ensure alignment across demand generation and brand positioning
  • Develop and refine the value proposition and messaging for different buyer personas and segments within the financial services and regulatory space
  • Identify and test new revenue channels, partnerships, and market expansion opportunities
  • Contribute to product positioning and pricing strategy in partnership with the CEO and wider leadership team

Leadership and Cross-functional Influence

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, setting a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, learning, and results
  • Operate as a senior cross-functional partner, working closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align go-to-market activity
  • Represent the commercial function at board and leadership level, communicating strategy, performance, and investment needs with clarity and confidence

What We Are Looking For

Experience and Background

  • Proven track record in a senior sales or commercial growth leadership role, ideally within B2B SaaS, fintech, or a related technology sector
  • Demonstrated experience building a sales function from an early or underdeveloped stage, including creating processes, hiring, and establishing repeatable revenue motions
  • Deep understanding of both inbound and outbound sales models, with hands-on experience designing and running outbound programmes where none previously existed
  • Experience selling into regulated industries, financial services, or enterprise buyers is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and resources are finite

Skills and Capabilities

  • Strong command of modern sales tools and CRM platforms, including configuration, reporting, and driving adoption across a team
  • Data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting, with the ability to build reporting frameworks and translate data into decisions
  • Ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution without losing pace or quality in either
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external buyers at senior levels
  • Commercially curious: someone who understands marketing, product, and customer success well enough to connect them into a coherent growth strategy

The Right Mindset

  • Builder mentality: motivated by creating things that did not exist before
  • Energised by ambiguity and skilled at creating clarity from it
  • High ownership: you treat the business outcomes as your own
  • Collaborative by default, but decisive when it matters
  • Honest, direct, and comfortable holding the commercial function to account

Why FinregE

  • Direct line to the CEO and meaningful influence on company direction at a formative stage
  • The backing and resources to build something significant, in a market with strong tailwinds
  • A genuinely mission-driven product that solves a complex, high-value problem for customers
  • A collaborative, ambitious team that values people who get things done
  • Competitive salary and equity package reflective of the seniority and impact of the role
