Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce high-quality marketing and communication materials, including brochures, flyers, billboards, digital ads, signage, event materials, presentations, and internal communication pieces.
  • Prepare print-ready files and coordinate production needs as required.
  • Help protect and strengthen the Cleveland Area Hospital brand by ensuring all messaging and visuals reflect organizational values, tone, and identity standards.
  • Assist in maintaining templates, style guides, and brand assets to support consistency across departments.
  • Develop and coordinate communication content for internal and external audiences, including social media, website updates, print materials, and digital communication.
  • Contribute to planning and promoting outreach events and efforts, public awareness campaigns, community partnerships, and hospital initiatives.
  • Support photography and videography needs, including capturing and editing content.
  • Partner with departments across the organization to gather information, understand project needs, and ensure communication is accurate, timely, and on brand.
  • Contribute creative ideas and solutions that improve communication effectiveness and engagement.
  • Maintain professionalism and discretion while working in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond calmly and clearly during sensitive or fast-moving situations.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with strong organization and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Degree or Certifications in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields preferred but not required.
  • Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio demonstrating layout, branding, and visual communication ability.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent professional design tools.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and in-person communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and represent the organization professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and brand consistency.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects and deadlines with organization.
  • A self-starter who works well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • 2-5 years’ professional experience in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • This position could have access to patient confidential records and must comply with HIPAA regulations as well as Compliance Policies.
