Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the IN creative team to develop visual identities, branded toolkits, graphic packages, and a range of physical and digital assets for experiential projects across a diverse client roster.
  • Contribute to both RFP responses and active, in-production projects, balancing multiple workstreams.
  • Thoughtfully build upon existing brand guidelines to create distinctive visual systems, then translate those systems into environmental graphics and other experiential applications.
  • Communicate with vendors and fabricators to ensure a seamless and collaborative workflow.
  • Lead the development of a visual identity while remaining responsive to feedback and direction from Creative Directors and Art Directors.
  • Mentor junior designers and provide thoughtful, actionable creative feedback.
  • Be versatile across industries and collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented with ownership.
  • Ability to work remotely during Eastern Time business hours, with the option to work from our New York City office.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work related to project installations, launches, or other key milestones, with compensatory time provided

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within an agency, studio, or fast-paced client-service env.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across brand identity, art direction, typography, layout, print, packaging, infographics, presentations, and digital design

Preferred

  • Skills in animation, illustration, UI or 3D
  • Experience mentoring junior designers and providing thoughtful, actionable creative feedback
  • Experience in multiple industries including beauty, fashion, luxury, consumer goods, technology, fitness, media, and emerging platforms
