Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design creative for email marketing, websites, digital banners, social media, print materials, catalogs, dealer materials, and trade shows.
- Ensure every visual touchpoint follows the appropriate brand standards and connects with the outdoor and shooting communities.
- Develop hero imagery and promotional graphics for product launches, seasonal campaigns, ambassador features, and sales initiatives.
- Work with printers and vendors on packaging, hangtags, point-of-purchase materials, dealer kits, catalogs, and large-format graphics. You do not need to be a prepress expert, but you must provide clean, production-ready files and understand the fundamentals of preparing digital creative for print.
- Image Generation and Editing. Use Adobe Firefly within Photoshop and Illustrator, along with the generative platforms best suited for each assignment. Tools may include Midjourney, FLUX, GPT Image, Ideogram, Recraft, and other emerging platforms. We are less concerned with which platform you prefer than whether you understand when and why to use it.
- Creative Judgmen t: You must know when not to use AI. Artificial-looking or inaccurate images are quickly identified by experienced hunters and shooters. Protecting the credibility of our brands is more important than saving production time.
- Hybrid Product Workflows. Our products must be represented accurately.
- Production Volume: We want someone who can develop multiple strong concepts quickly while maintaining quality, realism, and product accuracy.
- Licensing and Usage Rights: You will be expected to understand commercial-use requirements and confirm that generated content can legally be used in advertising and other marketing materials.
Requirements
- Two to four years of experience in graphic design, production design, or brand creative. Agency and in-house experience are both welcome.
- Expert-level Adobe Creative Cloud skills. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is required and will be evaluated during the interview process.
- Demonstrated commercial AI image-production experience. We are looking for work that has been published, launched, or delivered, not only personal experiments.
- Experience preparing print-ready files, including bleeds, color modes, die lines, and packaging files.
- Strong production speed and self-management. You can receive a brief, ask the right questions, and deliver finished work on schedule.
- The ability to maintain three distinct brand identities without allowing the visual styles to overlap.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and the ability to successfully complete a background check.
Preferred
- AI video production using Runway, Veo, Kling, Higgsfield, or comparable platforms.
- Motion graphics and short-form video editing using After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Product, studio, field, or lifestyle photography experience.
- Experience with Lightroom or Capture One.
- 3D product rendering using Blender, KeyShot, or similar software.
- Advanced AI workflows using ComfyUI, ControlNet, LoRA, or reference-training methods.
- Web and email production experience using HubSpot, Figma, Shopify, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HTML, or CSS.
- Advanced prepress or print-production experience.
- Familiarity with firearms advertising restrictions on Meta and Google.
- Personal familiarity with hunting, shooting sports, or the outdoor industry.
