About the Role

We're looking for a rare find - a graphic designer with a genuine point of view, well-rounded creative skills, exceptional taste, and entrepreneurial instincts. The right person for this role doesn't wait to be directed, they see what's needed, offer solutions, and execute at a level that matches speed with excellence. We're looking for someone who brings creative intelligence to everything they touch - someone who cares deeply about the work, moves with the urgency a small team requires, and has the taste and range to grow with the brand.This role reports directly to the Creative Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept and produce social graphics, campaign assets, and digital content across platforms
• Edit short-form video for Reels, TikTok, and brand use with an editorial sensibility
• Maintain and evolve brand design systems across templates, formats, and channels
• Collaborate on product launches, campaign rollouts, event collateral, and retailer deliverables
• Concept and execute artwork on packaging and fixture dielines
• Perform basic photo retouching and color correction for product imagery
• Bring ideas proactively — not just executing briefs but anticipating needs and solving problems before they're flagged

Must-Haves

• 3–5+ years of experience in beauty, hair, or a closely adjacent lifestyle category — you understand the consumer, the visual language, and the competitive landscape
• A portfolio that demonstrates both conceptual range and refined execution — we want to see that you can take a project through ideation to production
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• A strong typographic sensibility and a genuine, developed eye for elevated design
• Highly self-directed — you can take a loose direction and run with it, and you know when to ask a question versus when to just decide
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities shift and speed matters
• Proactive communicator — you flag early, update often, and don't let things go quiet
• Strong attention to detail, including basic print production knowledge

Nice-to-Haves

• Motion and video editing skills - After Effects or equivalent
• Illustration, collage or artistic ability of any kind
• Photography or content creation experience
• Existing familiarity with the hair care or prestige beauty retail landscape (Sephora, Credo, specialty channels)
