Job Description

Salary/Position Classification

  • $944.45 monthly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 8-10 hours per week
  • This position will work on campus at the University of North Dakota

Purpose of Position

This Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) position helps with grading and tracking of student assignments, monitors attendance and assists instructor, including occasional teaching. This position will assist faculty with large undergraduate courses.
This is a 25%-time commitment, and GTAs are expected to work 8-10 hours per week. This is an on-campus position. No remote work is available.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be fully admitted to the School of Graduate Studies at UND
  • Must be enrolled or working towards a Masters of Social Work degree
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
