- Work Location: NV5 Geospatial Offices or Remote
- Domestic travel up to 10% of the time
Responsibilities:
- Exercise independent judgment to coordinate and oversee client-facing documentation development activities.
- Lead the coordination of marketing material (but not limited to presentation slides, brochures, documentation, proposals, and bids) from initiation to completion, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Develop marketing content that highlights strategy and NV5’s value propositions, differentiators, win themes by analyzing client and internal stakeholder requirements.
- Coordinate and lead kick-off meetings to align team members and establish clear objectives for content development.
- Interview subject matter experts to gather critical information necessary for technical content development.
- Oversee the entire document production process, including compiling and formatting materials for creation and submission.
- Apply advanced project management, writing, and strategic thinking skills in proposal development.
- Utilize advanced software tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Google Earth Pro, MS Word, and PowerPoint to enhance content quality and presentation.
- Ensure the marketing and documentation strategy and quality meet company standards, directly impacting the likelihood of securing new business.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to interpret and understand client and internal technical specifications, ensuring meticulous attention to detail so that all technical requirements are accurately reflected and conveyed in the technical proposal.
- Utilize AI technology to develop efficiencies in writing, content development, and content management processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Experience in a technical marketing or proposal specialist role, positioning technology services and/or software products in a B2B selling environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with ability to maintain changes and updates throughout documentation process and future work.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+years of experience in a similar role or demonstrated understanding of geospatial.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to work independently.
- Technical writing experience and the ability to adapt to new technological trends and translate them into solutions that address client needs.
- Excellent communicator with good presentation and listening skills, adept at building relationships across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage and prioritize activities.
- Ability to handle complex file and information management.
- Experience in submitting winning bids to RFPs/RFQs.
- Bachelor’s degree in writing, marketing, engineering or a geospatial field (e.g., remote sensing, GIS).
- Ability to develop consistent, branded content for client-facing and internal stakeholders.
- Domain experience in Energy and/or Electric Utilities and Oil and Gas markets.
- Demonstrated experience with technical geospatial value propositions and ROI positioning within a competitive landscape.
- Ability to understand remote sensing data acquisition technologies, enterprise-level GIS platforms, geospatial applications development, integrated geospatial solutions, and how they relate to Private clients including Electric Utilities, Oil and Gas, and others.
- Proven ability to develop proposal and content management processes.
