Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute station promotions, contests, and giveaways across on-air, digital, and social platforms
  • Plan and manage live events, remotes, and community appearances
  • Act as on-site lead for station events, ensuring professional setup, branding, and listener engagement
  • Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill client-sponsored promotions and campaigns
  • Maintain promotional calendars and ensure deadlines are met
  • Write and organize promotional materials, contest rules, and winner documentation
  • Manage station inventory including banners, signage, and promotional items
  • Assist with social media content and digital promotion of events and contests
  • Recruit, train, and supervise part-time promotional staff or street team members
  • Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and company policies regarding contests and promotions

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Broadcasting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Have excellent at communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Have a valid Tennessee driver’s license and the ability to lift and transport promotional equipment
  • Have experience with social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools
