Reporting to the Director of the Worthington Atlantic City Campus and Community Outreach, this position would be responsible managing, coordinator and organizing community outreach efforts and provide campus operational support. Additionally, the purpose of this position is to identify, establish, foster and sustain relationships with organizations whose constituents may benefit from programs and services offered at Atlantic Cape Community College. This position is responsible to sell both credit and non-credit college services as well as build relationships for the betterment of students and community partners. This position hours will include evening and weekends. Responsible for managing and coordinating internal and external campus events, including insurance and contractual requirements Manages and coordinates WACC room scheduling, collaborating on the academic course scheduling process to ensure optimal space utilization, maximizing resources and aligning with programmatic needs Serves as campus, office and faculty administrative support Coordinates final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards Serves as the liaison for vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order Works with Security to ensure safety of students, visitors, faculty and staff Coordinates staff for each campus conferencing functions, including Facilities, ITS, Security and others as needed Develops and maintains partnerships with local faith based/religious organizations, community centers, senior centers and non-profit organizations serving low income communities within Atlantic County that result in measurably increased visibility, increased offerings and increased registration into Credit programs, Continuing Education and Workforce Training programs Recruits, trains and supports community liaison interns and student workers to disseminate information about Atlantic Cape programs in targeted communities in tandem with the Director, WACC and Community Outreach Ensures effective planning, implementation and evaluation of program events and activities Provides information to the communities and groups about financial aid and admissions processes and ensures the proper departments have the information they need for followup Provides potential contact information to One-Stop, Enrollment and Recruitment Services Works in tandem with Enrollment Services and Financial Aid offices to ensure the information being provided to the community is current and that all leads filter through proper departments Creates and maintains an inventory tracking system to ensure office supplies and promotional items are ordered and stocked Process requisitions, payments and orders for campus and community outreach needs Attends events related to partnership and community recruitment and partnerships Assists Enrollment at recruiting events as needed Works in tandem with the Alumni Association to provide alumni contact information for follow up Recommends potential grants for collaboration with community groups Coordinate and facilitate grant programs specific to the Atlantic City campus and Atlantic County Provide reports as needed related to specific grant requirements Plans and implements formal and informal partner recognition activities in tandem with the campus Director Collects and presents data to measure success rate of programs, events and activities Serves on committees and projects as assigned Performs related duties as assigned Education: Bachelor’s Degree Experience: Three years of experience in program coordination, event management and/or community outreach Experience working with budgets and payment processing a plus Competencies and Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Windows platform including Word and PowerPoint High level of organization and ability to multi-task Proven presentation skills Proven written and communication skills Proven ability to work collaboratively and productively with the community at large, including community organizations from various backgrounds and skill sets to facilitate ongoing partnerships Terms of Employment: This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
