Video Editor & Brand Designer

The Academy of Finance® is seeking a visually sophisticated freelance video editor and brand designer to support the growth of its media and communications platform.

Our content sits at the intersection of finance, education, and luxury branding. We are looking for someone with strong aesthetic sensibility and experience creating refined, cinematic, and elevated content across video and social media platforms.

Our visual identity draws inspiration from luxury houses and prestige institutions: minimal, intentional, timeless, and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate understands how to create polished content without making it feel overly commercial or trend-driven.

Responsabilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content
• Create elevated social media visuals and graphics
• Edit and enhance photography
• Maintain consistency across typography, pacing, transitions, and branding
• Support the Academy’s growing media and storytelling platform

Background

Experience with luxury brands, fashion, hospitality, editorial, or premium institutions

• Strong visual taste and understanding of cinematic storytelling
• Experience with Reels, Shorts, and social-first content
• Interest in finance and investing

Technical Skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Canva
• Experience in filming, photography, lighting, or video production is a strong plus.

Availability

Immediate availability preferred

• Approximately 3 days per week
• Freelance / ongoing collaboration
• Remote or in-office (Midtown Manhattan)
