Job Summary

Own and accelerate DLPR’s broadcast program by sourcing opportunities, coaching executives, and coordinating with reporters to secure timely visibility across financial media.

  • Pitch and secure opportunities across CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business and top podcasts.
  • Prepare executives for appearances with messaging, positioning, and media coaching.
  • Build and maintain relationships with anchors, producers, and hosts to broaden reach and integration with campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Pitch and secure broadcast opportunities for DLPR clients across top financial media outlets, including CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business and leading investing and business podcasts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with anchors, reporters, producers and podcast hosts across the financial media landscape.
  • Monitor breaking market news, economic data, earnings and macro trends to proactively identify timely media opportunities, conferences and segment ideas for clients.
  • Prepare executives, portfolio managers, and strategists for television and podcast appearances through messaging, positioning and coaching.
  • Represent broadcast on client account calls and internal strategy discussions, integrating media opportunities into broader communications campaigns.
  • Support DLPR’s broadcast team while expanding the firm’s reach across regional markets, affiliates, emerging platforms and market research.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in broadcast journalism, television producing, booking, media relations or financial communications.
  • Strong contacts, news judgment and a deep understanding of financial and business media.
  • Excellent written, verbal and analytical communication skills.
  • Proven ability to proactively build and maintain media relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a multitasker capable of managing multiple priorities, clients and deadlines.
