Position Overview

We are seeking dependable, hardworking, and upbeat Event Production Assistants (PAs) to join our freelance event team in the Jacksonville area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, likes being part of exciting events, and is comfortable with long hours and physically active days.

Our Event Production Assistants help with everything from loading trucks and setting up event assets to assisting with basic carpentry and on-site production support.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and trailers
• Set up and break down event equipment, displays, and branded assets
• Assist with warehouse organization and asset prep
• Use basic hand and power tools safely
• Perform light carpentry, repairs, and fabrication (a major plus)
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic during long event days
• Follow directions and adapt to changing event needs
• Represent the company professionally on-site

Requirements

• Previous event production, trade show, or experiential marketing experience required
• Comfortable lifting and moving heavy items
• Ability to work long and sometimes irregular hours, including nights and weekends
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Comfortable using basic tools, including drills, wrenches, and box cutters
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
• Willingness to travel when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Carpentry or fabrication experience
• Experience driving box trucks or towing trailers
• Forklift experience
• General construction or warehouse experience

Compensation & Perks

• Competitive hourly pay: $25–$40/hour, depending on experience
