Event & Community Manager

Responsibilities

• The Event & Community Manager is a part-time, remote role based in the London Area, United Kingdom.
• This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing industry events, meetups, and community initiatives around fintech, AI, and Innovify’s #GetFutureReady ecosystem.
• Day-to-day tasks include managing event logistics, coordinating speakers and partners, overseeing registrations and communications, and ensuring high-quality attendee experiences.
• The role also involves growing and engaging Innovify’s community across online and offline channels, moderating discussions, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to align event themes with business priorities.
• The Event & Community Manager will track event and community performance, gather feedback, and continuously improve formats, content, and engagement strategies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in event planning and management, including end-to-end ownership of professional events, meetups, or conferences.
• Community-building skills, with the ability to grow, engage, and nurture professional communities across in-person and digital channels.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including working with speakers, partners, vendors, and internal teams.
• Organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail, ability to manage timelines and budgets, and handle multiple initiatives in parallel.
• Familiarity with fintech, financial services, or AI/technology sectors, and interest in staying current with industry trends and thought leadership.
• Experience using event and community tools (e.g., CRM, event platforms, mailing tools, social media, and collaboration tools such as Slack or Teams).
• Comfort presenting and facilitating sessions, hosting panels or webinars, and representing the company at external events and networking forums.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in the London Area, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
