Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive community outreach plans tailored to the Vietnamese community, utilizing social media marketing, public presentations, and community events.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with local leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to expand our network and increase community participation.
• Manage social media platforms by creating engaging content, monitoring interactions, and analyzing data to optimize outreach efforts.
• Coordinate public speaking engagements, community workshops, and informational sessions to raise awareness about our programs and services.
• Collect data on community needs, feedback, and engagement metrics to inform strategic planning and improve outreach initiatives.
• Oversee volunteer management activities including recruitment, training, scheduling, and recognition to ensure effective program delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project management tasks such as budgeting, campaign planning, and resource allocation to maximize impact.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community outreach, public relations, or marketing within diverse or multicultural settings.
• Bilingual fluency in Vietnamese and English is essential for effective communication across all levels of engagement.
• Strong media relations skills with experience managing social media accounts and executing social media marketing campaigns.
• Excellent public speaking abilities with a talent for delivering compelling presentations for community outreach purposes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation tasks.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills—written and verbal—that foster trust and rapport with community members and stakeholders.
• Experience in customer service or client communication roles that require active listening and problem-solving.

Preferred

• Familiarity with project management tools, data collection methods, strategic planning processes, budgeting practices, and volunteer management is preferred.
