Description

Engagement & Communications Manager

Silverwood | Hesperia, CA

$55,000–$65,000 + Comprehensive Benefits + 16 Paid Holidays

Hiring range based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Collaboration. Authenticity. Connection. Balance.

At Cohere, we believe community is the most valuable amenity.

We do more than manage communities—we help create places where people connect, belong, and thrive. By partnering with some of the nation's most innovative master-planned communities, we create places residents are proud to call home and where meaningful relationships flourish.

We’re looking for an Engagement & Communications Manager to join our team at Silverwood, one of Southern California’s largest new communities. Built around the idea of Life Panoramic, Silverwood is designed to make the most of its natural surroundings, with nearly half of its land dedicated to open space, conservation, parks, and the Serrano Preserve. At buildout, the community will span more than 9,000 acres and include more than 15,000 homes.

In this role, you’ll help bring the Silverwood community to life by creating meaningful opportunities for residents to gather, connect, and become involved. You’ll lead resident-focused community events and programming from concept through execution—from smaller, intimate gatherings to larger community celebrations of 300+ attendees—while partnering closely with the developer’s marketing team and other community stakeholders.

You’ll also lead resident and community communications, creating clear, engaging information that helps homeowners stay connected to what’s happening in their community. This is not a traditional corporate events or broad marketing role—it’s about building relationships, creating meaningful resident experiences, and communicating in a way that strengthens community.

This is an opportunity for someone who loves both the creative and operational sides of community engagement—building the idea, managing the details, communicating it well, and being there to make it happen.

If you’re someone who can turn ideas into memorable community experiences, build genuine relationships, and communicate in a way that brings people together, we’d love to meet you.

  • Experience managing communications across multiple channels such as email, websites, newsletters, print materials, event communications, or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and coordinating multiple project details.
  • Experience participating in budget creation and/or budget management.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and build collaborative relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required.
