Job Description

This position is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by setting the enterprise internal communications strategy, governance, and leadership advisory approach to support business priorities, culture, employee engagement, and organizational change.

Essential Duties and Tasks

  • Set the enterprise internal communications strategy and ensure alignment with business priorities, culture, and organizational change.
  • Provide direction across internal communication teams and programs to ensure consistency, governance, and enterprise-level coordination.
  • Advise senior leaders on communication strategy, messaging, leadership visibility, and employee engagement opportunities.
  • Shape enterprise messaging frameworks to support major initiatives, culture, engagement, and organizational priorities.
  • Lead communication strategy for major organizational initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, restructuring, and enterprise change.
  • Establish communication governance, channel strategy, approval processes, and enterprise content standards.
  • Align communication plans across functions, regions, facilities, and stakeholder groups to reduce fragmentation and improve consistency.
  • Strengthen employee listening, engagement communications, recognition messaging, and communication measurement practices.
  • Advise on complex or sensitive communication matters and ensure messaging is appropriate, aligned, and risk-aware.
  • Improve the maturity of the internal communications function through governance, leader enablement, measurement, and process discipline.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • 8-10 years’ experience in a related field required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's Degree or Above in a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven talent for leading a multi-cultural team across multiple regions or countries.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook Email, and calendar.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
