Job Description

Location: Remote, with a slight preference for candidates near our existing PA, NV, or GA warehouse locations. Semi-regular travel across the network required.

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $130,000–$180,000 base salary + uncapped 10% profit sharing from the external 3PL business you build

About Raicom

Raicom LLC is the company behind a portfolio of high-volume ecommerce consumer brands.

To support those brands, we've built something most ecommerce companies only dream about: our own national fulfillment network.

Our network includes multiple warehouses across the country, shipping approximately 200,000 packages per month and moving roughly $100 million in product annually—entirely for our own brands.

Today, the network is a finely tuned machine that works extremely well for us.

But we believe it can become something much bigger.

Our fulfillment network is good enough to productize and offer to other business owners and operators who need best-in-class fulfillment. The opportunity is to transform what is currently a cost center into a standalone, profitable 3PL business.

That's where you come in.

The Opportunity

This role combines two major responsibilities, and we need someone capable of owning both.

1. Grow and optimize the existing fulfillment operation

Our internal brands are the foundation of the network. Their fulfillment volume helps us secure better carrier rates, absorb fixed costs, achieve fast delivery to U.S. customers, and support the economics of the entire operation.

As our brands grow, the fulfillment network needs to grow with them.

You'll own the function end-to-end, including its operational performance and KPIs.

2. Build the 3PL business

You'll take our proven distribution network and turn it into a 3PL product that can be sold to other ecommerce brands.

You'll determine the pricing model, onboarding process, SLAs, client experience, and operating model—and then go bring on outside clients and grow the business.

You'll work directly with our CEO and co-founder. No layers, no politics. You'll be handed a network that already works and a meaningful share of the new business you build on top of it.

What You'll Do

Own the Fulfillment Network

  • Own the entire fulfillment network end-to-end, including labor, throughput, cost per package, SLAs, and uptime across all locations.
  • Keep fulfillment for our internal brands running flawlessly. Maintaining SLAs and cost-per-package targets is non-negotiable.
  • Build peak-season temporary staffing plans so the network can scale up and back down efficiently.
  • Help open new warehouse locations as the network and client base grow.

Build the 3PL Business

  • Build the 3PL product from the ground up, including pricing, onboarding, client SLAs, per-client P&L, client experience, and the operational model required to create a world-class 3PL network.
  • Onboard new 3PL accounts that fit our operational model, particularly high-volume, low-SKU-count businesses, while ensuring their experience is exceptional.
  • Own the P&L for the 3PL business and operate it with an owner's mindset.

Optimize Automation & Infrastructure

  • Own the automation roadmap.
  • Identify, justify, purchase, and implement equipment such as A-frame sorters, autobaggers, and L-bar sealers.
  • Prove the ROI behind major equipment investments and ensure teams are properly trained to operate them.
  • Continue looking for opportunities to improve throughput, efficiency, and network economics.

Drive Transportation Economics

  • Negotiate carrier contracts with USPS, FedEx, UPS, regional carriers, and others to reduce cost per package.
  • Explore freight consolidation, regional injection, freight-forwarding partnerships, and innovative last-mile delivery options to reduce transportation costs.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is both a world-class operator and a builder.

  • Experience running multi-site fulfillment, 3PL, or distribution operations at significant volume.
  • Experience opening new warehouses, purchasing and implementing automation equipment, and negotiating carrier contracts that materially impact the business.
  • You're both an operator and a builder—you can run a tight, low-cost fulfillment operation and go sell and onboard external clients.
  • Experience identifying, hiring, onboarding, and continuously developing talent.
  • Ability to help build a fun, safe, and growth-oriented working environment for warehouse associates.
  • Deep understanding of parcel economics, including zone skipping, cubic pricing, NSAs, injection mechanics, and cost per package.
  • Real P&L ownership experience—not simply departmental budget management.
  • You're comfortable being measured on profit, not activity, and you'd rather have meaningful upside tied to what you build than simply a larger guaranteed salary.

Who Thrives Here

The ideal candidate has:

  • Run a 3PL or large-scale in-house fulfillment operation.
  • Negotiated directly with carriers and understands the economics of parcel shipping.
  • Built or scaled warehouse operations.
  • Implemented automation and knows how to evaluate ROI.
  • Successfully onboarded external clients without disrupting existing operations.
  • The entrepreneurial instinct to build and own a business unit—not simply manage an operation.

You're someone who wants the keys to a business and wants to be measured by what you create.

You'll have the backing of an owner who will push you to succeed, give you significant autonomy, and give you a genuine share of the value you create.

What You'll Get

  • $130,000–$180,000 base salary, depending on experience.
  • Uncapped 10% profit sharing from the external 3PL business you build. You win when it wins.
  • A proven fulfillment network already moving approximately $100 million in annual product volume. You're not starting from zero—you're scaling something that already works.
  • Direct partnership with the CEO/owner. No layers, no politics, full trust.
  • Generous HR benefits, including PTO and health insurance.
  • The rare opportunity to build and run a business inside a business and put your name on it.

Benefits

  • Dental insurance
  • Employee assistance program
  • Employee discount
  • Health insurance
  • Professional development assistance
  • Referral program
  • Vision insurance

Why This Role Is Different

Most operations leaders spend their careers running someone else's network at someone else's margin.

This is different.

You'll inherit a fulfillment network that already works—one shipping roughly 200,000 packages a month and moving $100 million in product annually—and have the opportunity to turn it into a profitable 3PL business serving other ecommerce brands.

You'll have the autonomy to build it, the infrastructure to support it, direct access to the CEO, and a genuine financial stake in its success.

If you're an operator who wants to build and own something—not just run someone else's warehouse—we'd love to hear from you.
