Job Description

  • Omnichannel Strategy & Growth: Lead the execution and development of clear brand-building plans aligned with divisional objectives. This includes owning the 3-year marketing roadmap, new product launches, and communication strategies. You will serve as the architect for growth across both professional distribution (SalonCentric) and key consumer retail partners (Amazon, Ulta, and Redken.com). Building a strong relationship with your sales account manager counterpart will be key to driving favorable outcomes for the brand, retailer, and consumer.
  • Consumer Channel Management: Drive the strategy for D2C, Amazon, and Ulta, ensuring a cohesive brand presence that maximizes traffic and conversion. Oversee the unique merchandising, assortment, and promotional needs of these high-growth consumer channels while maintaining professional brand integrity — including continuing our #1 Treatment Brand position in the market and building Hero SKUs.
  • 360° Activation & Support: Own the category support calendar, ensuring robust plans for key promotions, in-store merchandising, digital activation, and media elements.
  • Outside of broader Global campaigns with or without key spokespersons, you will be tasked with developing new marketing platforms that triangulate product benefit, Redken brand equity, and consumer or pro-led insights.
  • Anticipation of potential gaps across media, e-commerce, and launch asset packs, and organizing initiatives to answer against those needs with Creative — including organizing photo shoots and briefing net-new content.
  • Strong partnership with Brand Engagement Leads to best position launches and new marketing ideation for success.
  • Manage key A&P budgets that span across various 360 levers such as content, demos, GWPs, mailings, samples, and accounts.
  • Ownership of key Q4 Holiday Kit Programs across SalonCentric, Ulta, and D2C, which includes strong collaboration with global and creative teams across conceptualization and activation, as well as pricing and product assortment.
  • Vision & Innovation: Define the vision and strategy for your ranges and any innovation that falls under them.
  • Work closely with Haircare team members and cross-functional teams to execute initiatives that resonate with both stylists and end-consumers.
