Job Summary

Own the development and execution of PTC’s corporate narrative, crisis readiness, and executive visibility, ensuring consistent messaging and swift, coordinated responses across stakeholders and channels.

  • Messaging Architecture: shape the core narrative and proof points used across communications.
  • Crisis & Issues Management: build playbooks, monitor risks, and lead real-time responses with cross-functional partners.
  • Executive & Stakeholder Engagement: guide senior leaders’ external positioning, internal alignment, and cross-audience messaging across investors, employees, and partners.

Job Description

Own strategic corporate communications by shaping the narrative, protecting reputation, and guiding executive visibility across crises, proactive messaging, and cross-functional alignment.

  • Messaging Architecture: develop and maintain corporate narrative, key messages, and proof points across channels.
  • Thought Leadership: position PTC and its executives as credible voices on industry trends, technology innovation, and business transformation.
  • Crisis Preparedness & Response: build crisis framework, playbooks, and lead real-time communications during active issues.
  • Content Development: write and edit press releases, bylines, talking points, Q&As, fact sheets, and executive briefing documents.
  • Crisis Response: lead real-time communications during active issues, including message development, stakeholder sequencing, and spokesperson coordination.
  • Issues Management: identify, monitor, and manage emerging reputational risks with cross-functional alignment.
  • Reputation Measurement: develop repeatable methods to track reputational health and impact of crisis and issues response over time.
  • Executive Visibility: support senior leaders with communications strategy, speaking opportunities, and external profile-building.
  • Presentation & Speech Support: partner with executives to develop narratives for keynotes, panels, earnings calls, and all-hands meetings.
  • Employee Messaging: partner with HR and leadership to craft internal communications that inform, engage, and align employees with strategy.
  • Change Communications: design plans for organizational changes and strategic announcements with clarity and consistency.
  • Building & Maintaining Frameworks: create communications frameworks for stakeholders during business-as-usual and high-stakes moments.
  • Policy & Alignment: partner with Investor Relations, Legal, and HR to ensure compliant and aligned messaging across audiences.
