Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy aligned with the firm’s business objectives and strategic initiatives.
• Strengthen and protect the firm’s reputation across all markets and stakeholder groups.
• Advise on communication opportunities and reputational risks.
• Establish key messaging and positioning for the firm, practice groups, industry teams and strategic initiatives.
• Measure communication effectiveness and provide regular reporting.
• Public Relations And Media Relations
• - Partner closely with Littler’s PR agency on media efforts and strategies to elevate the firm’s profile.
• - Develop relationships with key reporters within targeted media outlets.
• - Identify opportunities to further promote thought leadership.
• - Oversee speaking engagements, award submissions, rankings and industry recognition.

Requirements

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strategic and creative thinking and business acumen
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, compelling communications
• Executive presence and confidence advising senior leaders
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of legal industry trends, and media landscape
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field.
• 10+ years of communications, public relations and corporate communications experience
• Experience in a law firm, professional services firm, or consulting firm strongly preferred
