  • Monitor real-time platform analytics and performance metrics (completion rates, average watch time, reach, engagement) to refine video strategies and maximize organic reach.
  • Maintain strict news judgment and ethical standards in fast-paced breaking news situations, ensuring speed to publish never compromises accuracy or brand integrity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building and executing social media strategies for video-centric publishers, digital media brands, streaming platforms, or major broadcast newsrooms.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of content creators, such as social producers, video editors, or digital content teams.

  • Technical Editing & Publishing Tools: Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or live-clipping/publishing technology (e.g., Wildmoka, Grabyo, SnapStream, SocialNewsDesk).
  • Excellent writing skills, strong newsroom instincts, and deep familiarity with Southern California social media consumer culture and audience drivers.

Preferred

  • Experience collaborating across multi-market partner teams, broadcast production desks, and digital streaming groups is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
