Job Summary

This role focuses on producing ETI’s media content, including the Emerging Tech Horizons Podcast (ETHP), from guest contact to run of show to post production. It requires strong project management, studio and publication workflow experience, and collaboration across communications, digital, and events teams. Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full podcast production lifecycle of the ETHP from pre-production to post-production and publishing
  • Ensure timely delivery of clean, polished episodes
  • Support studio operations and ensure smooth functioning of recording equipment; coordinate with consultant support and vendors
  • Serve as liaison with podcast guests and hosts; manage communications, scheduling, and logistics
  • Maintain high production standards for sound quality, visual appeal, content flow, and brand consistency
  • Manage podcast distribution (Spotify, YouTube) including uploads and analytics
  • Collaborate with communications, digital, and events teams to develop promotional content
  • Monitor podcast performance metrics and generate insights to guide content planning and growth strategies
  • Follow podcast trends and share recommendations on improvements to content, format, technology, or distribution
  • Coordinate ETI website content, upload publications, and improve navigation and visual appeal

Requirements

  • Must live within commuting distance from Arlington, VA and be available to work from ETI’s office in accordance with office schedule
  • Collaborative team player; comfortable with receiving feedback and implementing iterative improvements
  • Meticulous attention to detail; highly organized and proactive
  • Interest in ETI’s mission and programs; familiarity with foreign policy and national security
  • Professional written communications
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort interacting with senior government officials and high-level industry executives
  • Experience with studio setups for both audio and video, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and editing workflows
  • Proven success booking and managing guests, or experts in a communications or media context
  • Experience managing podcast publishing platforms and performance analytics

  • Opportunity to pitch ideas and contribute creatively
  • Hands-on experience managing social media for a mission-driven organization
  • Experience developing skills in digital marketing, content creation, and community engagement
  • Interest in government and industry programs on emerging technologies
