Job Summary

Own day-to-day social channels and content production while helping run campaigns that drive park visits and event attendance, with a focus on strong digital experiences and accessible user journeys.

  • Social & Content Ownership: manage social activity, community engagement, and high quality content across digital channels.
  • Campaign & Digital Optimization: support campaigns, improve website and booking systems, and coordinate paid ads to boost attendance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day social media activity and community engagement to engage a variety of audiences and help maintain the reputation of the Trust
  • Create and deliver high quality marketing content for the Trust’s digital channels to increase usage of the parks, attendance at events and awareness of the Trust
  • Support the Marketing Managers to plan and deliver marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Optimise performance and accessibility of our website, booking systems and other digital channels
  • Day-to-day running of social media channels and development of paid advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate and support on a range of marketing campaigns and initiatives that inspire people to visit, explore and enjoy our parks

Requirements

  • Experience working on social media, including content creation and community engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of SEO and experience in maintaining websites/ using CMS platforms
  • Adept at using design tools to create marketing materials (e.g. Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and email marketing systems
  • Strong IT skills, proficient using Microsoft 365
  • Videography skills including shooting and editing

Preferred

  • Experience running paid social advertising (e.g. Meta, Google, YouTube)
  • An understanding of CRM platforms
  • Experience working with marketing agencies
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices in digital marketing
