Job Summary

Own social engagement, content creation, and campaign support for a parks trust, with a focus on driving park visits and digital usage while improving site performance and accessibility.

  • Social & Community Ownership: Manage daily social channels and community engagement across diverse audiences.
  • Content Engine & Campaign Support: Create high quality marketing content and back marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Digital Experience & Accessibility: Optimize website, booking systems, and other digital channels for performance and accessibility.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day social media activity and community engagement to engage a variety of audiences and help maintain the reputation of the Trust.
  • Create and deliver high quality marketing content for the Trust’s digital channels to increase usage of the parks, attendance at events and awareness of the Trust.
  • Support the Marketing Managers to plan and deliver marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Optimise performance and accessibility of our website, booking systems and other digital channels.
  • In this varied role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of our social media channels, creating high quality content to engage a variety of audiences.
  • Working as part of a small team, you will collaborate and support on a range of marketing campaigns and initiatives that inspire people to visit, explore, and enjoy our parks.

Requirements

  • Experience working on social media, including content creation and community engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and experience in maintaining websites/ using CMS platforms.
  • Adept at using design tools to create marketing materials (e.g. Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and email marketing systems.
  • Strong IT skills, proficient using Microsoft 365.
  • Videography skills including shooting and editing.

Preferred

  • Experience running paid social advertising (e.g. Meta, Google, YouTube).
  • An understanding of CRM platforms.
  • Experience working with marketing agencies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices in digital marketing.
