Cotton Cuts is an online provider of premium, precut textiles for the maker community. Cotton Cuts shipped our first boxes in October, 2016.Cotton Cuts collects 4 dimensions of preference and has a proprietary algorithm that optimizes the customer experience. The customer has input over the product they receive while still retaining the element of surprise that comes with a monthly delivery. Competitors aren’t able to deliver on the true customer experience required to customize the offering. Cotton Cuts is doing just that. In February of 2017, Cotton Cuts licensed a “project of the month” program from a designer in New Zealand. This program runs over 10 months and is offered 2 times a year – a very attractive business with high margins and nearly guaranteed 10 months of revenue. In June of 2017, Cotton Cuts acquired Stash Builder Box, a line extension for Cotton Cuts. This acquisition opened the door into another market of quilters seeking customization with their fabric subscription offerings. This acquisition doubled the size of Cotton Cuts overnight.Alliances have been formed with local fulfillment and light manufacturing partners. Cotton Cuts has partnered with Valley Industries (North County), a workshop for disabled workers in the St. Louis region. Valley has provided all of the manufacturing required to support Cotton Cuts finished products. They have the infrastructure to be able to scale with Cotton Cuts as the enterprise grows and create more jobs for those most in need in the St. Louis Region. Email: help@cottoncuts.com
