Job Summary Do you have a passion for digital illustration and a mastery of Krita or Libresprite? Our customer’s team is searching for a creative, skilled professional to produce end-to-end digital artwork and help teach AI how real illustrators create. You’ll play a vital role in showcasing expert workflows, guiding the next era of creative technology. Key Responsibilities Lead the digital illustration process using Krita or Libresprite, from initial concept sketches to fully rendered artwork. Document and communicate your artistic decisions, layer management, and visual problem-solving approaches in detail. Develop compositions, select brushes/tools, and refine color, value, and design elements throughout each project. Deliver high-quality, complete illustration projects that clearly demonstrate your creative workflow. Collaborate closely with the customer’s team, sharing feedback and insights to improve processes and project outcomes. Participate in discussions to articulate your creative rationale both in writing and verbally. Troubleshoot and resolve visual challenges as they arise during the illustration process. Required Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated expertise using Krita or Libresprite to create polished, professional illustrations. Extensive experience completing full digital illustration projects, from rough sketches to final artwork. Strong graphic design background with a refined sense of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling. Meticulous layer organization and a thoughtful approach to brush and tool selection. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly describe artistic intent and process. Proficiency in solving creative and technical challenges during the illustration workflow. Self-driven and organized, with a portfolio showcasing diverse, high-quality projects made in Krita or Libresprite. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching, mentoring, or documenting digital illustration workflows. Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools or projects related to digital artistry. Background in user experience (UX) or interaction design as it applies to digital art tools.
