Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and distribute digital content and communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain integrated content calendars and collaborate with college and department partners to identify communication needs, priorities and opportunities.
  • Administer and maintain digital platforms, including college and departmental websites, ensuring content is accurate, accessible and consistent with university brand and communication standards.
  • Contribute to social media planning and create, schedule and publish content across college social media platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze website, email and social media performance to evaluate engagement and identify opportunities to improve digital communications.
  • The digital content specialist collaborates with partners across the college and university to coordinate messaging, maintain brand consistency and uphold high standards for external communications.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and four years of Relevant Experience. Requirements May Be Met Through a Combination of work experience and education.
  • Sponsorship Eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field.
  • Experience with social media marketing.
  • Exposure to proofing, editing and design of marketing materials.
  • Exposure to a content management system or a customer relationship management platform.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills with word processing and spreadsheets.
