Job Summary

The candidate will own the end-to-end man-on-the-street campaigns for Meta, designing strategy, developing concepts, writing direct-response copy, and iterating based on performance, while leading a junior strategist, managing client copy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and client pitches.

  • Lead writing and optimization of direct-response copy across formats.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design the strategy for a man-on-the-street campaign each client will run on Meta.
  • Develop a set of creative concepts for each campaign, which can involve different formats, props, or production.
  • Write direct-response scripts for each concept.
  • Review performance data and design new concepts, strategies, and scripts from it.
  • Supervise a junior creative strategist.
  • Take responsibility for all client copy, and potentially for CollegeWalk's own brand.
  • Collaborate with account managers, social media managers, and creative strategists on each campaign.
  • Present creative work to clients and internal stakeholders, and join new business pitches.

Requirements

  • A copywriter with 5 to 7 years of experience developing creative concepts and writing compelling copy for a variety of target audiences.
  • Fluent in direct-response principles, able to write clean, converting copy in a range of brand voices.
  • Comfortable presenting creative work to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Someone who dreams about spitballing ideas in a writer's room and pitching insane video concepts.
  • Excited to design nationwide marketing campaigns for household consumer brands.
  • Able to work full-time, in person, in our NYC office.
