Role Overview

We are seeking a Content Editor & Short-Form Video Producer to transform raw footage into consistent, high-quality short-form content for digital platforms.

This is a hands-on production role focused on editing, output, and content refinement. You will work within a structured content system—collaborating with content strategy and engagement leads—to ensure a steady, reliable flow of publish-ready content.

  • Produce approximately 10–15 short-form videos per week
  • Add captions, text overlays, and pacing to enhance clarity, accessibility, and engagement
  • Ensure content aligns with established tone, storytelling structure, and visual standards

Content Optimization & Output

  • Identify high-potential moments within raw footage and create multiple variations or cuts when appropriate
  • Apply strong judgment in pacing, hook development, and audience retention strategies
  • Maintain consistency across content while adapting to different formats and use cases

Asset Management & Workflow

  • Organize and manage video assets (raw and edited) for efficient access, reuse, and scalability
  • Work within a defined content pipeline to ensure timely delivery of weekly content outputs
  • Collaborate with the Digital Engagement & Content Systems Manager to meet publishing timelines

Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide feedback on footage quality, structure, and usability to improve future content capture
  • Flag gaps or challenges in raw footage that impact content quality or efficiency
  • Contribute to improving overall content production workflows over time

Qualifications

  • Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media platforms
  • Proficiency in tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar
  • Ability to produce content efficiently and consistently at volume
  • Strong sense of pacing, structure, and audience engagement
  • Ability to work with raw, unscripted, and variable-quality footage
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple pieces of content simultaneously
  • Ability to follow structured systems while exercising creative judgment within them

Additional Information

  • Part-time 20-Hours wk (with potential for growth)
  • Remote
