Job Description Do you have a passion for creating and designing eLearning content for field-based training? We are seeking a Content Design Specialist for North American Disaster Relief, based in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina! You should be able to develop materials that align with key outcomes and apply learning principles to achieve organizational objectives, ultimately working toward the greatest goal of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Content Design Specialist, you will have the opportunity to :Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ .Apply proven adult learning design principles to create instructional content using eLearning development software (including Articulate 360, Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, Totara, and Adobe Creative Suite )Facilitate learning management system administration and development .Work closely with the Training Team to support training initiatives for key partners, staff, and volunteers as needed .Follow policies and procedures of Samaritans Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual .Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors, and volunteers .Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public .Other duties may be assigned that are not specifically identified within the content of the job description .Learn more about serving with Samaritan's Purse .Qualifications & Experienc eBachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in the content design and delivery industry; or equivalent combination of experience and education .Thorough knowledge of curriculum development theor yThorough knowledge of curriculum development softwar eWorking knowledge of Learning Management Systems or similar software system sApplication of customer relations skill sGeneral knowledge of communication skill sGeneral knowledge of technical writing skill s12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, the opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire .Job Location: North Wilkesboro, North Carolin aType: Full-Tim eLanguage Requirement: Fluency in English (required )Travel Expectations: Infrequent domestic travel; less than 5%.
