The Community Services Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing community-based programs and services that support organizational mission and stakeholder engagement. This role ensures effective program delivery, resource allocation, compliance, and community impact measurement. The manager collaborates with internal teams, community partners, and external stakeholders to strengthen relationships and improve service outcomes. The position operates fully remotely, with occasional travel as required. This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage community service programs aligned with organizational goals Oversee program planning, budgeting, and performance tracking Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders Monitor program outcomes and prepare performance reports for leadership Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and funding requirements Supervise and support program staff or volunteers Identify opportunities for program expansion and community outreach Manage grant reporting and funding documentation (if applicable) Facilitate community engagement initiatives and events Implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field 5–8 years of experience in community services, program management, nonprofit leadership, or related roles Demonstrated experience managing programs, budgets, and stakeholder relationships Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of compliance requirements and reporting standards Ability to analyze program data and measure impact Experience working effectively in a remote or distributed environment Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in Public Administration (MPA), Social Work (MSW), or related field Experience with grant management and funding oversight Familiarity with community engagement strategies and public partnerships Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills Experience managing multi-site or regional programs Compensation Annual Salary Range: $85,000 – $115,000 USD. The British School of Amsterdam is an independent co-educational non-profit school providing world class teaching and learning for children from 3 to 18. Based in in the south of the city of Amsterdam, the school is organised into three sections: Early Years (3-6 years), Juniors (6-11 years) and Seniors (11-18 years) each with its own Head and team of staff. We currently have 1,100 pupils across the school. The British School is directed by a whole school leadership team comprising the Principal, Bursar and the Heads of the Early Years, Junior and Senior Schools.
