Responsibilities

• Creates engaging social media content and campaigns across Town platforms.
• Captures and edits photography and videography for social media, newsletters, websites and other Town communications.
• Designs graphics, flyers, digital content, and other visual materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
• Assists in the marketing, preparation, and delivery of Knightdale special events.

Requirements

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or GED program required.
• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, public administration, business administration, or other related field.
• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Town employees and the public.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
