Position Summary:

The Community Relations Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting Orlando Health's community engagement initiatives, events, partnerships, and outreach efforts. This internship is ideal for a college student pursuing a career in community relations, nonprofit management, healthcare administration, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field. The intern will work closely with team members to help strengthen Orlando Health's presence in the community while developing professional skills in event coordination, relationship building, and communications.

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.
Passionate about building a career in community relations, healthcare outreach, nonprofit work, or community engagement.
Outgoing, approachable, and enjoys interacting with a variety of people.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Organized, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Enjoys attending and supporting community events.

Internship Experience

Assist with community events, health fairs, outreach activities, and special projects.
Support relationship-building efforts with community partners and organizations.
Help coordinate event logistics, communications, and promotional activities.
Work alongside Orlando Health team members on initiatives that support community engagement goals.
Gain exposure to healthcare, nonprofit, and community relations operations.

Schedule & Flexibility

Typically, one day in the office and two days supporting community events or outreach activities but varies based on the needs of the assignment.
Flexible scheduling designed to accommodate class schedules.
Occasional evening and weekend availability may be needed based on event schedules.
Event schedules may vary throughout the semester
