Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and manages the organization's marketing, communications, volunteer engagement, outreach, and community engagement efforts.
• Oversees volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling, and recognition while increasing public awareness of the organization's mission, services, and volunteer opportunities through strategic marketing, media relations, community partnerships, and outreach initiatives.
• Assists with fundraising activities, donor communications, and organizational events.
• Design, edit, coordinate, and produce print and electronic communications, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, email campaigns, social media content, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Assist in the development of the annual report.
• Develop, manage, and regularly update the organization's website.
• Create, schedule, and manage content across all social media platforms.
• Serve as the organization's brand manager by ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and marketing materials.
• Develop and coordinate advertising campaigns, public awareness initiatives, promotional videos, and public service announcements.
• Monitor website, social media, and marketing analytics and prepare monthly reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in marketing, communications, volunteer management, community engagement, public relations, or nonprofit development.
• Experience managing websites using WordPress or similar platforms.
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or Mailchimp.
• Experience coordinating volunteers and community outreach initiatives preferred.
• Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media management platforms.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of and empathy for survivors of sexual assault and abuse.
