Job Description

Role: The Property Manager oversees daily operations of an assigned property, ensuring financial and operational goals are met while complying with relevant laws and regulations, including Fair Housing and ADA.
Responsibilities
  • Develops and manages budgets, analyzes financial statements, and reviews marketing strategies to optimize revenue and occupancy.
  • Controls expenses, approves vendor invoices, and manages lease enforcement, including applications, renewals, inspections, and evictions.
  • Promotes resident satisfaction by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring property maintenance standards are upheld.
  • Supervises staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations; conducts property inspections for safety and appearance.
  • Maintains owner relationships through updates, property tours, and addressing owner requests.
  • Completes financial, administrative, and operational reports; manages compliance and documentation, especially in California-specific lease procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Real Estate, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of property management experience, with strong sales, marketing, customer service, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Entrata, Yardi), internet, and office programs.
  • Valid driver’s license and relevant licenses/certifications as required.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and leadership abilities.
